To effectively ensure that all students have equal access to instructional content, a majority of CSU campuses are now utilizing Ally as a means to automatically check for accessibility and usability issues. CSU Quality Assurance is supporting this effort through making Ally a part of the QA professional development process.
Ally is an automated detection process takes place in the Learning Management System, helping to make it part of the normal workflow of the instructor as they (re)design their course. It provides instructors feedback regarding the overall accessibility of their course and provides step-by-step guidance for any instructional materials needing remediation.
